A Hazy Shade of Winter

I woke up this morning and stepped out, and the weather was brilliant! Clear skies, cold and fresh. It reminded me of last year. And the year before that - When I (along with many many others) put nightout after nightout in SAC preparing for the 4 most amazing days in the year.

Yup! 25 days to go. Mood Indigo is here at last. As I look around, it dawns upon me that I have loads of work to do. A website to finish, registrations to start and much more. But it isin't really work - it's fun!

So, to all my old friends - do come to Mood I, December 26th to 29th. It's amazing.

Look around, leaves are brown
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter
Look around, the grass is high
The fields are ripe, it's the springtime of my life

Ahhh, seasons change with the scenery
Weaving time in a tapestry
Won't you stop and remember me
At any convenient time
Funny how my memory slips while looking over manuscripts
Of unpublished rhyme
Drinking my vodka and lime

I look around, leaves are brown now
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter
