Simply Good Design

Once every couple of days, I come across conversations. Arguments of the iPod vs. Other Players variety. It's inevitable. Some say that the iPod sells short on features. "It's not cutting-edge technology", they say. "I just want a music player that plays music", I said. Here, I was reminded of something Douglas Adams once said.

"We are stuck with technology when what we really want is just stuff that works. How do you recognize something that is technology? A good clue is if it comes with a manual"

My iPod had no manual. :)
